Simone Buttigieg loaned to Hamrun Spartans FC

Birkirkara FC and Hamrun Spartans FC have reached an agreement over the of the Women's team player, Simone Buttigieg, for the rest of the season.

Simone, aged nineteen, joined our Club in the memorable 2009-2010 season where the Women's Team clinched the treble by winning the league, the knockout and the Super Cup. She won seven cups with our Club, that is, three times the league, three times the knockout and once the Super Cup. She also had the opportunity to take part in three different editions of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

We would like to thank Simone for her service towards our Club while wishing her all the best of luck in her new adventure.
