Birkirkara FC in Walk for life event

Birkirkara FC, represented by the Women's Team will be taking part in the 'Walk for Life' event, next Sunday on the 15 September.

The 'Walk for Life' is an event to help raise breast cancer awareness. This event will also serve to introduce the charitable ABCF (Action For Breast Cancer Foundation) which is associated mostly with women.

For all those interested in taking part, the meeting place for this event will be the Ta' Xbiex Marina (near the Black Pearl restarant) at 09:00. The walk will be along the Sliema Seafront and ends at the Hard Rock Café in Baystreet.

Tickets for the event cost €5 and all the money will all be donated to the ABCF. All the participants will receive a free water bottle at the beginning and then again at the end of the walk, and are then invited for brunch at the Hard Rock Café.

The Hard Rock Café will also have a commemorative t-shirt for on sale. The whole package, that is, the ticket for the walk, the brunch and the t-shirt, will cost only €8. As said, all the money will be donated to the ABCF as well.
