Club appeals Herrera's suspension

Birkirkara FC have earlier today lodged in an appeal against the suspension of player Edward Herrera.

The player was this morning suspended by the MFA's Disciplinary Commissioner for one game. The suspension was issued on the claim that the player did not have a valid medical test for the game played last Saturday against Rabat.

The Club has asked to MFA to hear the appeal urgently, so that a decision is taken before next Saturday's clash against Sliema Wanderers.
