Jonathan Maciel released by Birkirkara FC

Brazilian defender Jonathan Maciel has been released by Birkirkara FC. The decision to part ways was agreed upon amicably and mutually, to serve the interest of both parties.

Jonathan joined our Club in the beginning of July, before he signed a one-year contract on Wednesday, 10 July. He made his official debut with our Club on Thursday, 24 July in the second leg of the second qualifying round against NK Maribor, where he was included as a substitute in the 77th minute.

The Club is working hard to find the best suitable replacement.
