Ricardo Jimenez released

Spanish defender Ricardo Jimenez has been released by Birkirkara FC. The decision to part ways was agreed upon amicably and mutually, to serve the interest of both parties.

Ricardo joined our Club for a trial mid-way through June and he made his first appearance with our Club in the third match of the Euro Cup Friendly Tournament against Hibernians. He was also part of the squad that competed in two friendly matches, a 1-1 draw against Khazar Lankaran and in the 5-1 victory over Vittoriosa. Ricardo had two successful performances as his defending skills caught the eye of those present.
