Women's Team to start title defence against Pembroke

Birkirkara Women's Team will begin their title defence against Pembroke in the first league match of the 2013-2014 season. This was announced during a press conference held by the Malta Football Association in the Excelsior Hotel in Floriana this morning.

Birkirkara's sequence for the 2013-2014 Women's First Division is the following: Pembroke, Kirkop United, Luxol Raiders, Hibernians, Mosta, Gozo and Mgarr United.

The BOV Women's First Division League will be played between the 9th September and 21st April. Eight teams will be split into the Championship Pool and the Relegation Pool like last season. Games will be played mainly on Tuesdays, with some matches possibly played on Monday.
