Women knock out draws
by Ayrton Galea - 11th January 2013Birkirkara's Women's team was drawn against the winner of the match between Raiders and Pembroke Athleta in the quarter finals of the Women's knock out while the Women's team Under 16 was parried with Mgarr United.
Birkirkara's Women Team were awarded a bye to the quarters final of the knock out after they advanced to the final in the last year's edition. If Birkirkara manage to go through, they have the possibility to face Tarxien Rainbows, Vittoriosa Stars, Santa Venera or Lija Iklin which all are deemed inferior to the current champions.
On the other hand, the Under 16's were drawn against Mgarr United in the preliminary round. If they manage to qualify, they will meet Tarxien Rainbows and if Birkirkara manage to reach the semi finals they will face the winner of the match between Vittoriosa Stars and the winner of quarter final match between Pembroke Athleta and Kirkop United.
