Birkirkara Under 16 Girls trounce Vittoriosa

Birkirkara Under 16 Girls bounced back from two consecutive defeats and returned to winning ways when in a way traffic match, they defeated Vittoriosa with a very comfortable 9-0 score.

Following a quite start, Kelly Groves put ‘The Stripes' in the lead on the 8th minute and made them two just seven minutes later. Vittoriosa had no time to react as still shocked with the second goal, two minutes later Alishia Sultana made them three to make sure of the three precious points.

With already three up, Birkirkara never looked back and Raina Giusti scored no less than six consecutive goals to make them nine for Birkirkara and add her total goals to an impressive fifteen goals in six matches.

Birkirkara will be involved in the next match against Hamrun Spartans on Sunday 9 December. The match will be played at the Gharghur Grounds and it is scheduled to kick off at 10:00.
