U19 Team suffer narrow defeat

In a match full of controversy and different episodes, Birkirkara had no less than three players sent off to lose the second match of the league with a narrow 1-0 score against St. Andrew's.

Following having one player sent off in the first half where St Andrew's scored the all important goal, the same luck hit another two players in the second half. Ian Schembri, Roderick Taliana and Aiden Galea were all shown red.

Birkirkara will be involved in the next match on the 1st November when they face champions Pieta Hotspurs.

First Eleven: Jonathan Martinelli, Godwin McKay, McAllisther Clinch, Andre Cassar, Ian Schembri, David Spiteri, Shawn Deguara, Jonathan Licari, Aiden Galea, Brandon Attard, Antoine Borg.

Yellow Cards: Godwin McKay.
