Birkirkara U19 defeat Hibernians

The Birkirkara FC Under 19 Team opened their league commitments on a fine note when they defeated Hibernians with a 2-1 score to register the first three points of the season.

It was a good match for ‘The Stripes' as they gave a fine performance opening a two goal lead thanks to Andre Cassar and Shawn Deguara, with Hibernians pulling one back late in the second half.

Birkirkara will be involved in the next match on Wednesday, 24 October when they will face St. Andrew's in another difficult match. The match will be played at the Luxol Grounds and it is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
