Ball Boys for the 2012-2013 season

The Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery is welcoming applications for Ball Boys/Girls for Season 2012/13.

To become a Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery ball boy/girl, the child must be registered with the Nursery's Under 11, 12 and 13, which means, children born in 2002, 2001 and 2000 respectively.

Duncan Micallef, the Ball Boys/Girls Co-ordinator, will receive applications by email or phone, until Friday 31st August 2012.

There is no restriction on the number of applications, but if there are enough applicants, the selection process will attempt to spread the ball boys/girls across as many Birkirkara FC matches as possible.

The ball boys/girls must arrive 30 minutes before kick-off time on match days and must pay attention at the designated station during the games. A break for the ball boys/girls will be given at half-time but they must return five minutes before the kick-off of the second half.

The ball boys/girls must always stay on the field of play, positioned behind the advertising board and facilitate quick play by avoiding long delays when the ball leaves the pitch.

At the end of the season, the nursery will provide a team photo with the Birkirkara FC's First Team for each ball boy/girl who attends five games or more. A football signed by all the First Team will be presented to the three most dedicated ball boys/girls.
