Regillio Nooitmeer signs for Birkirkara F.C.

by Ivan Mizzi - 14th January 2012

Birkirkara made the third acquisition in this transfer market by securing the services of the 28 year old Dutchman Regillio Nooitmeer.

Regillio started his youth career with Sparta Rotterdam where he stayed for seven years. In 2001, he moved to FC Dordrecht where he signed his first professional contract.

'Regi' would be best described as a utility player, as besides playing as a central defender, in h is career he also played as a right back, right winger and a defensive midfielder. In 2007-2008, when he was with Galway United he also played as a left back.

In 2010, Regillio moved to one of the most successful clubs in Finland, FC Haka. Regillio was a regular choice and he made 43 appearances and even managed to score six goals.

Regillio's International Transfer Certificate has arrived and his registration with the MFA will be concluded soon. This means that he should be available for Mr. Paul Zammit's selection for the next match.

We want to wish Regillio to best of luck with our Club.
