December - A month of two halves

by Ayrton Galea - 2nd January 2012

Birkirkara ended 2011 on what could be considered as an acceptable note as in this month Birkirkara played three matches, two from the Premier League and one from the U*BET FA Trophy. In the Premier League they won one and were defeated in the other, and in the U*BET FA Trophy they made it to the fourth round thanks to a comfortable 4-0 win.

One could say that this is a month of two halves as in the first half we suffered the worst defeat so far and in the other half, we returned to winning ways and enjoyed a comfortable win registered in the U*BET FA Trophy to advance to the next round.
