Michael Galea loaned to Melita FC

Former Birkirkara FC's captain and Club's all time top scorer, Michael Galea today was loaned out to Melita FC after both clubs agreed terms about this transfer on a one year loan basis.

On Saturday, 18 June, this website announced the retirement of Michael Galea from Premier League football and from then, Birkirkara FC and Melita FC started negations over this player. In recognition of the player's long term service to our Club, and to make the loan possible, it was finally decided to loan him for free for a year.

We want to wish Michael the best of luck with Melita FC, while once again we thank him for all splendid years that he stayed with our club.
