Club's decisions about resignations and contracts

Birkirkara FC committee today received the letters of resignation of Mr Joe Abela as Technical Advisor, and Mr Joe B Grech as Team Manager. In their letters they expressed their deep regret over what happened in the semi-final match, when in the last substitution, the team ended playing with five foreign players. They explained that though it was a genuine mistake, they still felt responsible and thatshould resign.

The committee did not accept the resignations.

The committee also decided it was not in a position to offer new contracts to the Coach Paul Zammit, and Assistant Coach Branko Nisevic. The Club would like to thank them for their hard work, dedication and integrity.

Birkirkara FC will also be releasing the players Nikola Vukanac, Ibrahim Babatunde, Michael Fraser, Rodolfo Kumbrevicius and Andrei Agius. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their service and wish them luck for the future.
