Birkirkara to face Floriana in FA Semi-Final

Birkirkara will face Floriana in the U*BET FA Trophy Semi Final. The draws were held today during the Malta Football Association television show, MFA Live.

After they were awarded a bye till the Quarter Finals, Birkirkara eliminated Sliema Wanderers thanks to penalty shoot-out (3-1) after the extra time period the score was 3-3.

On the other hand, Floriana entered the competition in the first round and they beat Lija Athletics 3-0. Then they eliminated Mosta in the second round with a solitary goal in the extra time period. In the quarter finals they eliminated Qormi with a penalty shoot-out (3-5) after the match had ended 1-1 in the extra time.

The other semi-final will see Valletta facing Tarxien Rainbows. The matches will be played on 14 and 15 May, at the National Stadium. Details will be announced at a later stage.
