'Stripes' draw with Dingli S.

Birkirkara were unable to beat newly-promoted Dingli S., as a boring match ended 1-1.

The 'Swallows' took the lead after thirty-three minutes, when a rough tackle by goalkeeper Omar Borg, was seen as too rough for the referee, with the latter having no choice rather than to award Dingli a penalty, from which they opened the score.

On sixty-six minutes, Birkirkara drew level, thanks to Angus Buhagiar, who after receiving a splendind through ball, advanced and shot past the 'Swallows' goalie to make it 1-1.

The result remained the same until the final whistle. It's good to note that Ronni Hartvig was making his return in the Birkirkara shirt following a month absence.
